3 x Deathshriekers

2 x Destroyers

The BSB goes with the Ironsworn, a Destroyer on either side and blunderbusses taking the extreme flanks. Deathshriekers to the rear with the Deamonsmiths, essentially a ziggaraut formation.

Anyway, i am going with fire to fling fireballs and hopefully get ruby sword and fire cage. I really like the list and would love any and all feedback you distinguished folks feel up to giving.

Samanos:

a) drop the ironsworn. no seriously they suck.

b) 2x20 blunderbusses is bad. dont mistake me blunderbusses are awesome but you need more numbers in the units. right now you barely get the reroll to w and if you lose one guy(which happens pretty easily) you lose the reroll to w… so more numbers here.

c) i find 2 destroyers a bit of excessive. the thing dies easily if the opponent knows what he is doing. plus half the times its gonna be because he lost the T test and burned himself up. maybe a destroyer and a inron demon (or two!)

d) i find you your lack of s5 warmachines…disturbing… maybe add magmas or dreadquake or hellcannon?

e) no prophet?

a) i hear that they suck, but have yet to try them so i figured i give them a go.
b) i tend to run 4 units of 10-12 and find them to be brilliant, especially when coupled with sword of rhuin and/or enchanted blades, and if my opponent focuses in on them i figure i am already winning.
c) 2 might be excessive, but i figure they are the main hammers of the army and i plan on playing them conservatively to avoid most of what opponents can do to counter them or at least make them pay for it.
d) i absolutely love the deathshriekers, a 1 inch template that can correct itself is brilliant, coupled with sword of rhuin makes it pretty devastating, and i get the least amount of complaints about it. My meta is mainly consisting of elfs, skaven, empire, lizardmen, and dwarfs, all of which i can potentially wound on a 3 or 4+ with the above combo.
e) no prophet, i want as many rerolls as i can get on the war machines. The army is designed to not really need a general as most of the army is ld9+, and again i get the least amount of complaints when i do not run the prophet.

Skink:

The Prophet is a Daemonsmith. You can park him with your warmachines and get the reroll if you need.

I really like the idea of the list, but I agree that 20 is an odd number for the blunderbuss units. If you’ve had success with smaller (10-12 strong) units, that might be the way to go, instead. But at 20, you’ve got just enough for the reroll, and likely won’t have it for long!

But a cool list nonetheless
