Willmark:
Sneaky gits are definately cool models; but not worth taking as the rules stand now. If they were core then maybe, not worth a special slot IMHO.

Arlon:
i personally love hobgobs
gIL^:
bolt throwers!! and thats about it, maybe a smokescreen for my ogres
Canix:
I love the models and use the sneaky gits as naked slaves i take the following in 3000pts
15 naked hobbos
15 naked hobbos
12 bow hobbos
10 wolf hobbos la shd with command for bsb BC or hobbo hero
10 wolf hobbos la shd
i would also have orc arrer boyz between 10 to 15 diversity and many tools :h
If sneaky gits ever got skirmishing type rules i would use them as sneaky gits but that rare slot is precious if you like orc big uns like me:hat
wallacer:
The old CD models are so expensive that I don’t have a lot of cash left over to buy old hobgob models.
Pyro Stick:
This would of been a good auction for hobgoblin fanatics:

Agreed there Canix. Some people look down on the hobbos. I love up. In fact I can’t wait for a unit of 10 Hobbo Wolf Riders. While not the most effective since they can’t have spears they are fast and can zip around flanks. Maybe even having 2 units of ten might not be a bad idea.
I also like the idea of hobbo bowmen. They are dirt cheap and anything they hit is a bonus in my book.
Warlord:
HobGoblins and Bull Centaurs make the Chaos Dwarf army what it is. WIthout these, they would simply be Dwarves with Magic.
The provide the light infantry, fast cavalry and cheap redirect, options required for a Chaos Dwarf army to function. Sure you can go without, but these make the list that much more balanced. They are one of the reasons why I have stuck with Chaos Dwarves all these years - because of the options and flexibility they provide.
I use them predominantly as a ‘detachment’ for my warriors, however I also have some as screens / redirectors also. As mentioned the Wolf Riders are also great supporting the Bull Centaurs.
Sneaky Gitz I don’t really use for a few reasons:
1/ Don’t have the models - have other ‘sneaky’ models, but not equipped the same
2/ Don’t think they justify the Special Slot
3/ Don’t think they add much more than a regular HobGob unit because they are all ranked up…
Lord Zarkov:
I find sneaky gits great, with a hero in the front you’d be surprised what they can achive; I’ve managed to beat charging war dancers with them before and wasn’t even particularly lucky when I did it.
Uzkul Werit:
I could see the worth of small Sneaky Git units as flankers but no more than that. They’re a Special slot that doesn’t warrant the title special and they die as easily as a naked slave.
Hobgoblin King:
I really like the models, I’m a big hobgoblin geek though and dream of making an all hobgoblin army purely for aesthetics. I already have 130 painted plus 18 wolf riders. I also made a conversion of the hero on wolf (you know the big burly one) and put him on a manticore, its awesome. I have 2 hobgoblin chariots (one painted) and I am making a hobgoblin beast master squad prodding a yhetee into battle on chains with whips. Yeah I have to admit the models captured my imagination, its my dream to get about 50 more hobgoblins to make a realistic sized warband…more like nightmare.
Any way playing wise, friends just brag about how fast they die, I’ll shoot a bolt thrower in their ass. Or chase them away with bull centaurs. I’ll try to get pics up sometime.

Kera foehunter:
Wow thats a lot of hobos Do you have any pictures Hobgoblin king ?
AGPO:
Hobbos have the same stats as humans remember
Kingle:
Not exactly though. They have lower initiative and leadership.
AGPO:
If you’re sensible, they should have leadership 10 re-rolled
Hobgoblin King:
No pictures no camera, I live in the woods so I don’t know when I can get good picks but I will try hopefully I’ll have picks in a month?
Grimkin
Kera foehunter:
thanks can’t wait to see them .
Hobgoblin King:
I have heard tell that a unit of 60 sneaky gits will brake anything in close combat, and if saved from missle fire will continue killing everything thrown against it!?! Can that possibly be true?

cornixt:
With Lap Around, that was probably pretty accurate after the first turn against anything other than Witch Elves. No more Lap Around though, so they aren’t quite as good
