there two many ringer there so i don’t post my figures there
but there are some great painters
Kawazu:
Lately I’ve been busy with some minis out from my usual range, because I’m preparing a couple of things for the italian GD of this year (around october).
And I’m painting this one for my girlfriend
It’s a limited edition sorceress from Dark Sword Miniatures.
It’s my first time with a non-GW mini, and let me say it’s a challenge. The sculpt is lovely, and kudos go to the scupltor for being able to make such microscopical details… when I’ll finish it I’ll take a pic with a coin as a reference. The only thing I don’t like in it is the casting metal (too much lead, pretty easily deformable) and the price (23 , with shipping :~, they don’t have good distribution in Europe).
I’m going to put it on a scenic base, and I’m building it from an old citadel paint cap (a classic), modelling a little cliff on it with insulation foam and green stuff. Then I’ll put that stone floor that was in the mini’s blister.
The green stuff is still curing, and then it’s going to be entirely covered by texturized paint, so don’t mind to its look now
Kawazu:
I finished the sorceress today, and based it.
I slightly changed the base because that green stuff looked just a big pile of rubbish…
The fleurs de lys on the base are made by following a tutorial from Matt Parkes (about Bretts) found on a old WD from 2004.
Kawazu:
Here are some better pics of the sorceress, plus a comparative pic with a coin (to show how tiny it is) and a closeup of the face
Thanks for looking! :hat off

That’s a low cut dress, I was almost expecting a “nip-slip”. What scale is the model?

After many many months I managed to finish something!
I said I’m epically slow…
Here’s a knight from my WIP chaos army. I tried a technique found on CMoN and I’m totally pleased with the result
Let me know what you think about it :hat off
