Ok, my father got a hold of a newsweek magazine and then gave it to me. I turned a couple of pages and then saw this:
The so-called Montauk monster tha appearently was washed up on a New York beach. I have searched the internet and found almost no information other than this:

Still only halfly convinced. That upper part of the “beak” doesn’t look like a upper jaw of a dog or a racoon to me.

I think the guy in the vid’ is right. I think the jaw bones have been damaged which is why the look so different, but the body, legs and fur makes it look like a mammal thats been decomposing for a long time (look at the lower back and colours of the skin) what it was to start though I have no clue, if you do want to know try looking for what animals are native to the area.

it a coydog a cross between a dog and a coyote. the teeth are dog like not like a a racoon teeth. i think it the old taco bell dog!

I would have said that it was faked or a mutation (the skin looks like a spit-roast hog’s for starters…). As for the beak, you can see some of the flesh on the upper jaw is missing and the lower jaw looks to be slightly out of place (dislocated perhaps or just pushed to the side slightly). It’s the eyes that look weirdest and if it’s been photoshopped, those would be the only bits, IMO.
