Hoj hoj!
I played the first game with my Chaos Dwarfs and first game of warhammer today.
My enemy was Skavens, he got 1 unit of 25 clanrats,20 slaves,2 wizards,5 night runners or gutter runners,2 poison globadiers,1 ratling gun and a warp-lightning cannon.
I played with the models i had,
1 bull centaur hero,19 warriors with hw and shield and a CD hero,15 blunder busses,
15 hobgnobz,1 earth shaker and a death rocket.
I deployed my cannons on a hill and my warriors and hobgnobz to the right and blunderbusses and BC hero on the left.
He deployed his clanrats, slaves, runners rat gun and on the right side from me, the two wizards on the left, and the warp cannon in the midle(or warpstone cannon ogre slave).
First turn
I started to move my units forward, then in the shoting face I blast some clanrats with my cannons.
then it was his turn,he moved his rats forward and jumped around with his wizards. then in the magic face his wis wizards started to cast warpstone spells killing half of my BB unit:mad. In the shoting face he missfired with his warp-lightning cannon.
Turn 2
In turn two I charged his globadiers with my hobgnobz, the globs run away and then I charged his slaves with my slaves:P I killed his runners with my BBs and some mor rats with my cannons.
Then in his turn he moved his clanrats forward my cannons, his wizards was jumping around and killing more BBs
almost the same thing happened during the rest of the turns.
I killed one of his wizards with 3 BBs then he killed the rest of my BBs and my BC hero with the other wizard.
His slaves run of the table.
He destroyed my earthshaker with his clanrats.
His wizard was jumping around my warriors and killed half of them(and they where realy jumping).

I was looking forwards to seeing someone do this. It looks perfect to me, hunched but still strong.

in the new skaven box you get 10 slaves or clanrats without armour(some of them have chains so they must be slaves) and 10 clanrats with armour.
i’m going to make all the slaves into hobgoblins and keep the others as clanrats for my skaven army

I suspect most of it was green before you sprayed it :cheers

the gnobz will be slaves in the indy gt list but in RH there count as hobgnobz,
have five more to paint plus the hobskaves.

Really really like the helcannon as well. Maybe it’s a silly question however: the screaming souls on the barrel are painted with fleshy colors or like gold? The monitors of the internet cafe aren’t working well so I can’t tell it

copy the hobbo how much you want, it was not my idea(but i was first making a model of it).
the souls are painted with:
Basecoat: Vermin brown
Highlight: mix of Vermin brown and Bleached bone
Extream Highlight(very thin almost no paint on the brush): Bleached bone
Internet cafe?? it was on Games Workshop Stockholm's 10 years celebration!
Well earned? i lost against a worse painted army than minex.x
