Dont know really, but I would estimate atleast 6000+ pts painted for MW and about 4000+ pts painted for LW.

Great stuff Tjub my mates soviet mad too.We play 20mm with home made rules that are too complex.I like the look of FoW but cant persuade them to change so games to take less than 30 hours :o

Not really a painting update, but here are some photos we too while playtesting our zombie game. The terrain are som old 40k stuff, but the plan is for a suburbian setting inte the future.

Regardless of gaming requirements that’s a really nice set of minature soldiers. Can’t believe the paintjob on such small minis aswell. And over so many… makes my paintbrush hurt just thinking about it. Making me very jealous 
Don’t know anything about FOW myself but on average how many men do you need for a proper game and how long does it take you to paint one of those “companies”? And also cost wise how much for a full sized army.

Say a german Panzer force based on the Kursk battle might include 7 Panther Tanks and a Soviet red army infantry fore might consist of 120+ stands of infantry. Obviously the cost for these two armies differ alot... :)

Its hard to say how long it takes to paint, depends on what you paint. German SS troops with camo smocks takes alot longer than my mostly black sailors.
