About the blunderbusses, they work.
The lord has Lore of Hashut and I am thinking of giving him a wardsafe but don't know where to find the points for it. I've been fielding him as 'nacked' as this for some time now and he survived each single battle as he I just walking him away from the places of danger (he is not in the unit of blunderbusses but mostly besides or behind it on a hill).

I believe any character worth a lot of points deserves a Ward Save of some kind. You could turn the Sword of Strife & Enchanted Shield into a Great Weapon. Your BSB is also looking a little vulnerable…

Could you explain why it is better to have a GW instead of 2 additional attacks? Strength 5 vs Toughness 3 already wounds on a 2 and doesn't strike last as well.

I believe because those items free 45 pts which is the cost of a talisman of preservation for your lord...

Yeah a ward save is a must on a lord, especially ones as expensive as a Prophet.

The wizard survived being shot at twice. I had given him the opal amulet but he didnt use it. The Iron Deamon fought for four turns with his Deamon prince until it was destroyed. This and my hobgoblins who entertained his horde of bloodletters for two turn was a first step to victory. Even though he got the first turn and my fisr two turns of shooting were abysmal.
The blunderbusses held their flank in fantastic fashion and their number were yet again enough. In the end I shot his shstormed Daemon prince with my rocket launchers which won the day for me.

No, I actually didnt know. So the Daemon got 6 wonds instead of 12.

I had an earlier chance when the Iron Daemon scored 3 (d3) wounds on the Daemon prince. My opponent managed to save two of those and the third only gave him one wound.
Death shriekers scored two more hits on Khorn cannons, both of which turned out to be one wound as well.
On the other hand, my Taur'uk repaid them in kind stopping a cannonball in the same manner.
If I can find the time I will write up a full battle report :hat
