Thank you - Martin! Think I’m pretty much there now - just that second Juggernaut Turret platform - and that unreleased Fotitt- Chaos Dwarf of yours - so now it’s time for painting them all.
But perhaps I could persuade you to do the Chaos Dwarfs one final gesture and upload some of those great eBay-pictures of the Siege Cannon to the Siege Cannon and Juggernaut Image Gallery thread. Knowing that they are all history now - but we could all use looking at such inspirational pictures.
But you have to ask yourself - why don’t these guys just push the “buy it now” button - on one of those Whirlwind buy it now auctions.
Or try out a regular Whirlwind auction. Today they could have had both that wonderful warmachine and the wanted Boar Centaur for ‘just’ £33?? - this one:
Wow and i didnt think anyone would be stupid enough to raise the price from £30 yesterday! Some chaos dwarf just seem to go for crazy prices for no apparent reason. Does the high bidder even know that it also comes with the buy it now? Im definately going to pm him after the auction.
Congrats mate; G! $499 really is a lot of money for a single minature isn't it?
Seems you have found the right time to be selling out you collection.

Yep, I struck gold there! And since the jugger went for $600 I have made decent money so far. The boar centaur is the third version which only came with the juggernaut, but I never thought it'd go thet high... Martin
So as said, there is nothing special about that one pictured in you auction - and the price is way to high (IMO), if the model shown is the one the buyer gets - but who can blame you?
But if they think the have found the rare Juggernaut Boar Centaur I can see why the price is going sky high.
Quite right mate, thanks for correcting me. Now I have no idea why the price is this high, but then again one of my single space marine models just went for $50, even though I listed another example of it last fall and got $7 for it…
A couple of years ago one particular buyer called “Simonafrikapr” popped up on ebay, entered ridiculously hig max bids on lots of common figures (incl. mine), which resulted in many of us collectors selling garden variety minis for up to $100. Sadly he has not reappeared since… Silly and lovely ebay!
PS! Just listed the last of my CDs including all crossbowmen. Martin
Those are lovely minis you are selling off there.Good to see your getting a decent price, i cant resist going for the few 3rd ed and marauders i need however they all seem to have taken off a the moment
