As the Destroyer and Fireborn are in the next FW book (apparently), presumably it means they will have rules written out in full as per a scroll of binding.
Do people think they will copy and paste, or use the opportunity to alter the rules then refer to these changes in the first LoA FAQ?
From the few threads I’ve read on other forums it seems there isn’t much fun for people playing against the destroyer…
I don’t know… They more or less copy/pasted for the scrolls of binding that were in LoA, but they were also in the same book, so that’s not a very good example. I hope they come out with an FAQ before Monstrous Arcana, though!
Storm of chaos? You sure that’s what you meant? I don’t think they’ll be bringing many things from SoC into FW books.
The FW rules will be for FW models if that’s what you mean. So for a sense of completeness it would be handy to put the storm of magic lamassu and taurus in, if they end up changing the K’daai rules.
They said on facebook they’re currently writing a FAQ.
I can see them going back on their ruling regarding the -1 to wound, but I very much doubt they’ll alter anything else.

People need to learn to bring chaff and exploit its frenzy and base size. The usual 8th ed ‘3 brick’ style lists can’t cope with it - their own fault for not taking a balanced army. At first I thought it was crazy OP too, but chuck in some fast cav/skirmishers, or a mounted Dragonhelm Hero or some troops with poison or maybe some Death/Light/Shadow magic and you can minimise its impact pretty easily.
Its mostly the same whining that always accompanies lazy players having to use brain.
If Forgeworld’s books are any precedent for Warhammer Forge, it’ll probably just be copy and paste. The only way they’ll change it is if WF comes up with some variant they want to have.
