Please explain ?It seems pretty obvious that he is referring to the increase in effectiveness that stone throwers received in 8th edition and the bolt thrower's exclusion from the FW army list. The rule changes in 8th increased the number of death rockets being fielded vs bolt throwers, which were considered a bargain in 6/7th when stone throwers were less accurate and did not auto-hit. His logic is that since bolt throwers aren't being fielded quite as much that people might be willing to sell them. The fact that they are also not used in the FW list may also mean that they are useless to players who want to use the new list with their old CD models.

Exactly, They have little use and im building a Goblin army where they still are sort of useful. Please explain ?It seems pretty obvious that he is referring to the increase in effectiveness that stone throwers received in 8th edition and the bolt thrower's exclusion from the FW army list. Before the Tamurkhanbook came out I used m3lvin’s tutorial to create six bolt throwers. But as they don’t have the same feeling as the deathshriekers I just use them for my O&G instead.

Exactly, They have little use and im building a Goblin army where they still are sort of useful. The only flaw in your theory is that Big Hat and earlier era chaos dwarfs have far more "collectible" value than mainstream supported armies like space marines. Most people who own big hat armies paid a premium because they really wanted those models, playablity and in-game effectiveness arent quite as important to those collectors. A good example would be tenderizers/whirlwinds, there are a surprising amount of people looking to buy them even though they haven't had any official use in the CD list in a very long time. The market isn't very likely to be flooded with big hat miniatures as a result of the FW list. Anyway, I am selling 4 Bolt Throwers if you are interested.
Plus are you still using RH? :hat off
