Awesome! Thank you for the post Grim! That Chaos Dragon looks promising! I hope (for Chaos Players), that it is not going to be too difficult to scrap off its Khornate iconography, in order to make a model devoted to another god! Also, I absolutely LOVE that artwork!!! Can’t wait for those Sylvaneth models, and Alarielle to be released!
You know, Age of Sigmar is really growing on me… I want to finish my Warhammer army (2 or 3 models left), and start an AoS one. The idea of having Orcs, Black Orcs, and Ogre slaves (I want to use Berserker Ogryns for these) in a Legion of Azgorh force is too epic to pass :). Without considering that you can proxy Hobgoblin Bolt throwers as Grot Spear Chukkas as well :D.
I really, really, REALLY hope that Forgeworld is going to release rules for the Legion of Azgorh when the point system will drop though. I WANT generic Lords riding Lammasu & Great Tauri back, as well as Hobgoblins & K’daai Destroyers :hashut
Most important: Rules stay the same, so no messing around with gaming board design, base size or whatnot.
More: ShaneTB over at Dakka, talking to developers at Warhammer Fest:

Same by Rictus:
Had a number of conversations with the team, especially Andy Hoare who put up with me going back about four times (though one conversation was mainly to do with Adeptus Titanicus). Thankfully he is a man with a lot of patience.
First up what I can remember:
The release is hoped to be end of the year.
Box set contains the first two teams, Orcs and Human in plastic. The pitch is double sided with a Human pitch on one side and an Orc pitch on the other. The rules have not been changed, they are the rules which has been around for a while now.
In total there will be six teams in plastic (Human, Orc, Skaven, Elf, Nurgle and Dwarf). Other teams will follow in resin. There is also likely to be resin conversion sets.
There will be more pitches which will also be double sided (Dwarf/Skaven & Elf/Nurgle) with more possible later including tournament specific ones.
They are looking at neoprene pitches but as yet they don’t know, it comes down to cost and if they can get them in large enough quantities and other factors but it is something they would like to have.
Several expansions are mapped out including the first one covering seven more teams and league rules.
If all goes well Dungeon Bowl will also see the light of the day.
The Orc team looks good, the Dwarf models look good, the human linemen look awful! The rest of the human team look fine, but the linemen are done in some cheap horrific 80s style that make them look like a 10-year-old in full American football gear.
