Felix is the master at sculpting dwarfs, every hero at AoW is just so… paintable, great characters. Worst thing GW did is let him go, well from a dwarf point of view anyway

I love the models, not the price. My main problem is why a slayer? Who fields slayers in their list now a days? I think i might have liked to see a thunderer or crossbow champion (cant think what else the dwarf list really needs - tonnes of engineer models, thanes, heroes)

Haha...sadly this is true...my own hunch is coming along nicely'I think these are terrible...the details are good but I agree that the overall concept of these guys is just flawed...they are hunchbacks! And why does the heroes beard look like half a hard boiled egg? I won't even mention what I think of the price...:owell there old dwarfs Blue.. As male age they become hunchback due to the point they are married. The honey dew list just keep getting heavier

I’ve been waiting for FW’s release of Dwarfs for Black Fire Pass. I thought I would buy everything that they released, but I’m starting to think that I will not. There are many details that I like about the miniatures but there is one thing that I really dislike which has been already mentioned:
He is in a crouching position but his head is too far in front of his body instead on its top. Orc type dwarf?!

I actually really like these guys (primarily the axe detailing to be fair), but I do have some complaints - the banner is too busy without actually having anything going on; the “lord” has a shorter beard than the thane; all three of them have their necks sticking from the top half of their chest instead of the usual position; the lord has chainmail instead of plate armour (or, preferably, both). The last one is just that I think of Gromril armour as being platemail for some reasn - let’s go with precedent, lol.
I was thinking, nice pieces, might get these when I scrape a little money together (expecting the same price as our guys, perhaps £20 due to the banner), saw the price, laughed and snorted in derision (difficult at the same time!) and decided no monies from me.

I am thinking that if the head was a separate part I could modify the model to glue the head a little bit higher and that would solve the problem for me. So, does anybody know if the head comes separately or if it is one piece with the torso?
