Congratulations! Great news!!
Fuggit Khan:
Super cool news!
Congratulations and I wish you all the best in your miniatures line.
And I love the artwork in the first post…I’d pay good money for a Big Hat/skull mug like the Chaos Dwarf has
:cheers
But beware of sneaky gits toasting your good news…notice that you can’t see the Hobgoblin’s right hand, under the table holding a rusty knife no doubt
gsteelwraith:
Oh, I’d totally get behind a Big Hat/ Skull Mug like that. Somebody needs to Kickstarter that asap.
tjub:
Haha agree, a “had+skull-mug” would be great! :hat off

Kickstarter update. All is in the works, and there are some extra good stuff incoming.
Hi sorry for the lack of update over the last week been super busy working on theses . So here it goes. We are in the process of making molds. We have started on the 10mm as said it should take us a week or two longer than planned. As we have chopped the 28mm up and added pegged arms for most of the models ,thus it will take us longer to get theses done we apologize for this .Were looking at around a month at most two longer than planned originally, We apologize for the slight deally , we feel the need to keep you properly informed . Unlike many other kickstarters we dont expect you to just wait for nothing. By way of apology we are releasing the free hobgoblin war booty stl and made a chaos dwarf hero which we will be including a metal model of in all physical orders free of charge . Further we will be releasing a 1-2 foot evil Giant after orders are filled which we will be giving a $15 discount to all backers as we wished to have it out with kickstarter. We are working around the clock on this and can’t wait to get them into your hands. We will be doing a prize drawing for early send outs for 10mm stuff for free soon . Sorry for the essay but we feel its very important letting you know what’s the plan is.
Sincerely DYM

Hmm, so there is growing concern on KS about this once very promising campaign. Ari, one of creators, was last seen on KS in December with rather bad personal news, but a plan on how it would proceed, since then it?Ts radio silence. Yak, the other creator, weighed in a few days ago and basically said he has no more information then we do, he cannot get a hold on Ari either (!). He did mention though that Ari is not the kind of guy with malicious intents, so let?Ts hope everything is only a matter of time. Still, the current situation has me a little worried. I was (and still am) rooting for the guys, I want their project to be a success, but I also would like to see something for the 135$ I put in…
Admiral:
It’s concerning that Yak can’t contact Ari. I hope everything is alright.
The December news was one of overworking and health issues on the one hand, and of Yak leaving the enterprise, ergo delay. I’m currently in the midst of exhaustion and constant small sickness bouts from lengthy overworking, and can easily understand that an extended period of rest and recovery, and disconnect from ongoing concerns, is called for. Work something like 10-14 hours per day, most days including weekends, and your body will eventually protest, even if you manage to work without stress and enjoy what you are doing with a passion. This is not uncommon among small company people.
Fingers crossed we’ll hear something soon, something good. I would advice patience.
Sadin2912:
I am also wondering myself. Glad that I am not the only one :D. I hope the guy is allright and will be back with good news soon.
Admiral:
Ari is back. He’s been worn thin, but is recovering and working on the Kickstarter again.
Poison:
anybody else feeling that this might be another case of ZONK???
I hope I am just being paranoid
Admiral:
Easy, dear Poison. Ari has recently posted a Kickstarter update with pictures of loads of 3D-prints and work information. Something is happening.
As someone who is currently burned out from overworking, and only slowly recovering, I easily understand why it’s taking extra long time for him.
Gut feeling told me from the very beginning that DYM has the right community spirit for CDO, and all I’ve seen so far with several free STL files for download has only convinced me further: This is a kind man trying to do business, make his CD dream come true, and taking care of his elderly at the same time. I can only hope it all turns out well for him and all his customers.
Admiral:
In other words, I wouldn’t worry much for a scam at this stage, but for calculations to have been wrong, or major problems with production popping up. Hopefully everything works out fine, and every single item can be delivered in the end without hiccups.
