[Archive] WereWolf Miniatures

MiniatureReview:

I am sure these have been posted, but if not I thought they were rather cool.  They look similar to Chaos Dwarfs from Russia

The Evil Dwarfs are for the Sons of Adramelech: Tartaruk Takabaras line

They can be find via Ebay

Hill_Billy_Bub:

Even though I prefer Big Hats, I think these look pretty great even if they look a little skinny

Abecedar:

They look good, but sad to say I won’t be adding them to my collection any time soon (unless I sell some stuff)

Bloodbeard:

They have sponsored a couple of miniatures for our competitions. I have them here, at my home. The quality is very good, detail is super crisp and the resin is a high quality.

That is good to know. How do they go compared size wise?

gIL^:

I think there better suited for AoS than original fantasy.

MiniatureReview:

I found a nice little writeup on the figures.

I like them, but there is something a little “off” about them that I can’t put my finger on.

Exactly what I was thinking too...the guys with the 'bolter shotguns' would make for good 40K Squats I think

I think it's because the hips are too wide/torsos are to narrow. The guns also look a tad too sci-fi I think.

Jackswift:

I’ve had my eye on them for a while, and will probably pick up some at some point. They are a slightly different aesthetic than the GW models, but would work well as a separate unit. I will likely want to convert the pyrobaras gun weapons as they are a bit too scifi for my taste in CD.

Tokheim:

So does anyone on here have some yet?

For scale comparisons? I have some old 3rd edition GW figs, some Titan, some 5th edition GW, getting some Russian Alternative. Are there any pictures out here somewhere, that show the scale/size differences?

Thanks!

MiniatureReview:

I haven’t seen any scale pictures. I have contacted them to send some samples for me to do some comparisons with, but they haven’t responded.

The protective mat they're photographed on has 1 cm squares...

Tokheim:

Selling some stuff on Ebay now,

Maybe I’ll order some with my profits, if any! So I assume these are all resin or plastic figs? I like the choice with the Russian Alternative figures, you can get them either way. I like the weight of metal, but plastic is so much easier to convert/fiddle with.

Metal, plastic then resin are my favorite types of figures.
