Overall the rumours sound very vauge, anything could happen.
You said it. GW seem to have a bit of a retro thing going on at the moment (the new DEs look quite 5th ed, a lot of the Daemon stuff too) but with CDs I think its anybody's guess. The masks seem popular so I wiuld expect to see them, but knowing GW they probably won't abandon the hats either. Maybe some kind of mix, like in Knight of the Realm, with nobles in hats and grunts in masks.

I think that is the only way to re-unite the split tribes of the CD peoples, allowing us to becoming an overpowering force and march forth to conquer the Old World!
