The biggest problem with new warhammer editions is the oversizing some units have experienced. Lately, the old lammassu model is more similar in a way to a gorger/gargantua, than to a stonehorn. It wouldn’t be surprising if the old lammassu is just a little bit bigger than a mournfang. I would try to use it as a diorama, probably as some sort of ogre overlord pet in a huge palanquin sorrounded by 4-5 ogres and some gnoblars. Being it the main part of a chaos dwarfs juggernaut, just resting on top of the tower, served by some other chaos dwarf looking ogres?
…If memory serves me correctly, the Gorger was on a 50x50 base wasn’t it? If not, the model is big, but not that big. If you pin it on the far edge of a 40x40 base, you could still use it as a… Whatever. Otherwise, you could leave it without wings and slap an ogre on it. That would be an awesome Mournfang unit .
I know you know, but there was another user who had converted some ogres into a cd army back in the '09 days… Ican’t remember its name, but he/she used the lammassu head to fit in a giant body. It looked really good. If not you could also try to make a taur’ruk or a shar’tor with an ogre torso and the lammassu head a little bit converted. Even with the RH Shedu head.
For an ogre army? Just trying, what about the GW Chimera with the shedu head?
http://www.ragingheroes.com/products/shedu-sphinx-head should work reasonably fine, atleast in my head.
Or those ogre rhino with the shedu head plus some wings xD

I think he already has the mini, he's asking what he could use it as in an ogre army.
I think the GW Manticore with the Shedu head could work great (the Chimera too, I agree, as mentioned above). If you are going to be doing any Greenstuff work with your army anyway, then the mane of the Manticore will require some transition to the Shedu style of ringed locks of hair… but if you go with the Chimera you’ll have this same issue, so I guess it comes down to which body type you like and which body the head will work best with in terms of proportions.
