I was considering buying a hellcannon from GW but it’s not on their website anymore (at least in the UK). Anybody any ideas what’s happened to it?

There’s apparently a new GW website coming soon and there’s been a few reports of things going missing here and there as they rearrange stuff behind the scenes. So probably nothing sinister.

A lot of things have been missing from the site recently, most notably most slightly older character sculpts. Funnily enough, you cannot currently buy orcs unless you buy the battalion set. No orcs in orcs and goblins…

I’ll either wait for the new website or use this as an excuse to build my own from scratch then…

There are some pretty great takes on hellcannon conversions if you look around the blog part of the forum. And the hellcannon concept is pretty nice - go conversion nuts!

There’s also a nifty thread over at the Chamber of the Everchosen about Hellcannon conversions. The concept is lovely and invites to conversions, but honestly GW’s own model is sublime and has yet to be beaten by a scratchbuild. And there are lots of good contenders! :yar

Thanks, I’d not even thought of visiting the warriors of chaos forum (doh…). There’s some nice looking conversions on there!

Hey my Hellcannon is mentioned there!!! Well, not really, my entry to Golden Hat #17 is mentioned, but nonetheless it's there :D! This is the first time someone posts my work in another forum. That's when you know you're going in the right direction I guess :). Sorry, not bringing anything new to this conversation, just got excited!!!
