Kera foehunter:
depends on the cd army i say lava !!! but i have wood planks and lava baces and some that has water he he
Borka:
It’s lava for me. There was one army blog where I saw a guy who did sort of pools of boiling poisoned fluids ( here scroll down and look at the hobgoblins) I really liked them as well.
cheers
Lifer:
I’d say lava or metal scraps. Lava is pretty common so it would be nice to see some well done metal scrap bases
Baggronor:
I say blasted ash wastelands with scrap metal lying around and scraggy, dead grass. Save the lava for a centre-piece conversion like a Taurus.
wallacer:
Probably lava if you have the time (and it will take a lot of time to base your whole army with lava).
Xander:
I used Grass and Dirt to match the current GW standard, but I’d do Wasteland/Lava/Scrap in the future.
Ghrask Dragh:
Dead grass and wasteland might be cool?
Arashi:
Grass and dirt for me as well. They aren’t at home for the most part when they are searching for new slaves.
starscream:
check out foundations of war for cheap resin lava bases.
like these…
Hashut’s Blessing:
Most people would say lava, but it depends what them you go for… Lava is god for those near volcanoes, scrap metal is good for steampunk/industrial ones, dirt is good for ones that travel and grass is good for slavers…
Kera foehunter:
And wood plank are good for the pirates same as water type bases
Kera *add this becase Hashut’s Blessing forgot
Ishkur Cinderhat:
Lava I say. By Hashut, let the Earth bleed!
Thommy H:
Lava! You can use the tutorial that will be featured in the upcoming issue of Word of Hashut to find out how.
Kera foehunter:
so when will this date be tommy h, that we can see this
Thommy H:
It’s in issue 2 of the webzine, so Willmark would know more than I about dates.
