I do not know much about the CD Histories et al heck I don't know much about Hashut either *Looks to people for edumacation* but I'd figure that asides from status, or holiness of said weapons, that well the hammer is a dwarf weapon. Yeah your CD is a dwarf but I figure they kinda hate their fellow "good" dwarves (we all know CD's are way cooler and good, I mean if they weren't good why did they create the Black Orcs as a labour force? lol) so why would one who hates someone use their favoured weapon? Axes are used by normal dwarves too but hammers can't behead rebellious slaves...axes can. And swords are too human and dare i say it, elvish in nature, why would a dwarf of any kind use such a puny weapon?
