Ancient History:
You could easily rule Chaos Dwarf Warriors use hammers. Makes converting a unit of Hammers led by a warrior wielding the Black Hammer of Hashut easier.
Kera foehunter:
well i was woundering why they don’t have any cd figures with hammers
or was this planly over looked
Bassman:
Do you mean actual minis edited by GW? Well our latest range 4/5th edition was one of the poorest ever. Even tough I love them I have to admit it. We could be satisfied we ayt least had characters with hammers!
GW says that our was the worst selling army ever but they do not admit they released just two basic types of troops: blunderbusses and axemen!! :h
wallacer:
Some of the old 3rd edition metal figures have hammers.
Xander:
I just completed making 22 CD Warriors with Hammers. I am working on the command now. Pics to follow.
Kera foehunter:
that cool ! are they dwarf hammer or converted hammers Xander

Here one !!while looking thew my cd supplement book i notice cd don't fight with hammers?? only the chaos dwarf sorceror and the taurus rider . i thought this was odd being Dwarfs(at one time)Most likely a question of style. GW likes to differentiate armies after all. Axes are a lot more Eeevil than swords or hammers. Spiky maces even more evil. And so on and so forth.

Kera foehunter:
Well i don’t think the axes of the axemen look evil ,there kinda swiss gaurd looking
more of show than fighting with
cornixt:
Going by the models, hammers could be considered a status symbol
Kera foehunter:
Best answer !!! cornixt
zorn sabretooth:
ahh i know from somewhere i can’t remember though that hammers are the holy weapon of hashut so can only be weild
by lords and sorcereors
furrie:

Swissdictator:

furrie
Kera foehunter:

minty:

Willmark:
The whole perspective is this: dwarfs traditinally are associated with thecaxe and hammer, so why not have them use a sword I’d something else to seperate them from the norm?
wallacer:
Chaos Dwarfs would look quite nice modelled with scimitars or Shamshirs. Maybe even a Kopesh like the TK use.
Kera foehunter:
yea !! we pirates know how cool swords are!!
cornixt:
How about the CD big hat champion models?
