All looks fantastic - the bolt thrower is great if we get a new rule book and can demoniacally possess/ add runes to our bolt throwers yours will look just the job. I like the colour scheme nice to see a lighter red and some oranges being used instead of the more traditional red and black.

Thanks, but in that big wall of text above you I just finished admitting I don't like the colour scheme and am going to change it, lol.
WhyNotCrashDifferently?:
Not a big update but an important one. Not that anyone read it, but in that last bout of verbal diarrhea above I laid out that I wasn’t happy with the sculpting or paint scheme of my Dwarfs, so I set my bar a bit higher and started sculpting. The results are below:

Almost done, just a bit more sculpting. The new armour is going to be standard across the army, no more lazy and crappy plates. The hat and shield designs are more detailed than they were, and the mustaches and beards more carefully sculpted. The noses I like as they make the dwarves a little uglier, as dwarves should be. The lips and tusks on the fellow on the right, while a pain in the ass to sculpt, ended up being well proportioned and I’ll be continuing with that as well. Overall, I’m very pleased that I decided to re-imagine them a little bit, and I’ll be tearing apart the five finished Warriors I have to re-sculpt their details. I’m not going to bother painting for a bit because I still want to think over the new colour scheme some more.
I also slapped together a Swivel Gun from bitz to spice up the Blunderbussier unit I haven’t even started yet:

It’s a little crooked but it was just for fun anyway. I might make a similar net-launching gun thing for my Slavers. Unit fillers have become much more important to me now that it takes a gods-awful amount of time to sculpt rank and file.
