Basically there was a table painted up to represent a sky with foam mountain peaks and cotton for clouds. 3 dragons per side. All rules per WFB with 3 magic items for the rider on each dragon.
I was on the High Elf side and wiped out a rider and his dragon.
Some randomness: the magic items were random draws as was wind direction that effected the dragon’s movement each turn.
They built a arrow on a base that spins similiar to board games. Each turn they spun it. Itvwould then affect the rider and their dragon depending on whether you were going intonthe wind, against it or with the wind.
I like the sound of this dragonfight game; it seems simpler? like, perhaps a good place to start learning
I will maybe have Xander figure it out and teach me! n_n I’d love to paint a dragon (or proxy in some creature I could use in my faerie army, like a pegasus or flying unicorn
Sojourn, a flying unicorn is called an alicorn I believe. If memory serves correctly anyway. It seems Willmark will have to create a thread with the exact ruling for this Dragonfight game. Sounds dun. Perhaps it could be expanded to be an aerial arena of death…
Sojourn, learning the game is easiest to begin by having no magic, shooting, psychology or special rules. (Combat res counts as usual.) When you feel confident, add in shooting. Then psychology (as a lot of magic is psychological…). then magic. Magic items can come in at any point…
