Alas, we have waited for far too long to get this issue out, but thanks to a sterling effort by Thommy H to get this put together in a short period of time ?" it?Ts finally here! As Willmark mentioned with the introduction to issue #11, it is slimmer than before. To combat that happening in the future, let?Ts quit the WoH diet and get loads more articles in! As always, the content provided is off a fantastically good standard and all great stuff to peruse. As a result, without further ado, I present to you: Word of Hashut #12 the Spring edition! Now all that?Ts needed is for you to download it and read…
It’s good to see that the Word of Hashut is back on track again. It showcases the wealth of the CDO community and (I hope/think) helps the community grow and improve even more. Good job! The cover art is particularly striking.
The reference to Pim Fortuyn in the Slave Pen section strikes me as a bit strange though. Maybe such political references are better left outside of our little hobby. It doesn’t offend or bother me much personally and I’m not looking to stir up a discussion or anything, it’s presence just strikes me as a bit odd.
I would like to contribute to the Word with an article sometime myself, but I’m not sure I can really commit enough time to it. Anyways, keep up the good work! I’m already looking forward to the next issue
I tend to agree with JMR on the reference in the Slave Pen. Not that I find it offending or anything, I just don’t think politics and wargaming are related in any way
Again, sorry for it taking a while to get out, thanks for your patience and, honestly, the artiles and Thommy H’s efforts were the hard work - I simply got it all in one place, lol. Regardless, glad you’re all enjoying it!
Regarding the reference, I was unaware of any real life relation to anybody and, had I known of the reference, I would have changed this to avoid offence being caused. Alas, as much as I like to think I know a lot, it’s one of those thigns I didn’t know and it is too late for me to change it. Hopefully, in the future, people will avoid direct political references and I always endeavour to avoid causing scandals if possible.

Hashut's Blessing
After my previous post I figured that this would be the cause of the reference making it in there. Oh well, c'est la vie :)
The idea was that the Taurus’ wings and horns line up like the Rune of Hashut (in that ‘V’ shape) but I don’t think anyone would actually be crazy enough to notice something like that
I consciously avoiding doing any of the proofing - I think I corrected, like, one really obvious mistake as I pasted an article and that’s it - so I missed the political thing in the Slave Pen. I don’t think it’s that a big deal, although we do try to keep the controversy off CDO.
Well done everyone. This issue is excellent. It is nice to see this ezine come back to life. The amount of work and effort that it takes to put this thing together must be congratulated. I contributed 3 images, which were not only used (much to my surprise), but were given a whole page within the magazine. I do feel very humbled to have my Taurus pictured in amongst such fantastic work, but I am also very inspired to contribute even more things to future issues.
Again thanks everyone for your hard work in putting this together.
This issue is really nice. I really enjoyed reading it. Great work! When is the next one comming out? :cheers

Personally I did take offence to the Fortuyn reference. To give some perspective. This is the same as putting a piece in here and writing John Fuckendedy under it… I know that the editor couldn’t know anything about it and I love this issue but I would like to ask that whoever sent in this piece gets reprimanded for it.
You must be new to these parts pilgrim. The WoH is carefully brewed for many months, to get it just right for publication. If it is brewed for too long, there is a chance of some deathly fermentation, which can take it close to extinction. The truth of the matter is that no one really knows when the next issue will come out. We all just wait patiently for the brewing to happen. It may be a while, so if you haven't done so already then download some back-issues and read them slowly, while you wait.
It are days like these that I realise my beard is still to short and that I’m still ignorant in my ways. Thank you greatbeard for explaining the details of the holy scripture.
The “Pim Misfortuyne” segment is entirely my fault. There was a need for Slave Pen questions, so I quickly wrote some with little forethought. Can’t say I’m very political, the name just popped into my head. It will not happen in the future.
Sad to see that my fan-speculation on human slaves did not make the cut, but can’t say I’m surprised. I would like some feedback on what exactly held it back, if that’s not too much trouble.
