I think you should try some washes on the easterlings.
badab black on the metal and purple and ogryn flesh at the skin, then you could go with some highlights, the same colour as the basecoat on the skin, mithril silver on the edges of the steel.
Dang, this just reminds me of all my lotr figs that I haven’t even looked at in ages lol… nice job on them! I agree with Warh though, some highlights would be good, especially on the cloth of the Easterlings…
I know I’ve told you this before, but you would notice such a massive improvement in the overall appearance of your models if you based them. Everyone whose never done it before always says, “I don’t see how it can make much difference” but just trust me that it does! I was one of those people, and then I started doing proper basing and it changed everything. You don’t have to go crazy with it - just find some coloured flock and static grass and whack it on.
Thommy H: In all actuality, it’s one of the few times I’ve listened, lol. The Dwarfs have a few with some snow on, but not got round to doing all of them yet and I’m still trying to decide how best to do sand on my Easterlings. I’ve always found people use far too much sand and I’m undecided on whether to just glue it on or paint it (and if so, how). However, it’s on the mental “to-do” list
