I think it’s not so much the material you are painting onto, but the shape. Metal miniatures tend to have crisp cut lines and shapes because metal holds detail very well. Plastics are a bit dullerer on the edges as the plastic material does not hold the detail as sharply as metal. Greenstuff can, if you are talented, be as sharp as the metal, but generally it will be too dull, and not as sharp.

I enjoy painting Metal miniatures, yes.

Sharp:

I find most of my Red’s start by mixing in Dark Flesh. Even starting with a Dark flesh base coat. It’s has a little more red in it’s base, I find Scorched brown mixes funny sometimes.

But even we did (well most of us did no’t know anyway) at the time that it’s only the CD nobels that where the big hats as stated in the book Knight Of The Relm.So as I bet your champs for warriors are no’t loborn give them big hats!
