Are the Chaos Dwarfs coming this friday

I don’t often do to much on the rumours department, but as an avid Warhammer Underworlds player (yes, we do exist) I have this titbit of hopefull information.

This friday the “influencers” will receive the new warband for release, which is called Kamandora’s Blades. Now, the name sounds pretty Khorne-ish to me (that and a new rivals deck will come alongside them, which by the name also is in the aggro department), and it is often whispered that for the Age of Sigmar lore purpose our beloved Hashut has become an aspect of Khorne.

It has always been said that they would first be tested in Underworlds, so my guess is they will be coming and that it will be a Hobgrot centered warband.

Should I be able to pry out more info, I’ll of course be coming back here…

Now to bring out the Hopium and the Copium

As a [1st edition] Underworlds player too, I was always super hopeful for a Chaos Dwarf Underworlds warband. Personally I think it would be a shame if it would be Hobgrot themed, but let’s see first.

Very interesting rumour, I’m excited.

I will of course not dignify Hashut being under the Khorne umbrella with a response.

The influencers wouldn’t be allowed to share pictures of this until it is officially announced, we would be dependent on some leaks

these sure are an uh interesting design

Well, so much for that rumour then.

So glad I’m not the only one regarding these as decidedly sub-standard and ugly models. Yikes. Does the studio ever reject anything at this point or are they just greenlighting everything to his their near-weekly new release schedule?

I’m glad it wasn’t a Chaos Dwarf related release at this level of disappointment!

The bull is kind of fun, but the others are decidedly bad. Disappointing overall.

Nevertheless, is this a pumpjack? Together with the bull(dog), there are still some hints…

It used to be the Khorne was represented by dogs and Slaanesh by bulls, but they kind of shifted the bull-ness to Khorne around 6th edition and left Slaanesh without any representative animal. An oil pump is a curious thing for fantasy though.

Well, not for AoS. Wasn’t the Zharr Vyxa lore we had so far something about the Chaos Duardin using souls in an oil-like manner and quite literally “pumping” them from shyish or so?

It’s not anything new though. Warcry Red Harvest came with that terrain piece (the Varanite Mines) and it was later sold separately (in two different sets: Warcry Ravaged Lands: Varanite Syphon Camp and Warcry Ravaged Lands: Pit Dredger Camp). So maybe not a clue… just a chaotic backdrop??

Oh that’s right! Totally forgot about that stuff.

GW had some banger terrain features across game systems over the years.

The big leak from a couple of days ago… Chaos Dwarf cavalry!! Oh wow, we have so much to look forward to!!

If this turns out to be Chorfs I will explode from joy. I got into it after GW stopped making (noot counting FW), and have been waiting for all that time.

Aos without any doubt. Stop setting yourself up for disappointment, guys.

That includes „boy I hope we’re getting plastic blunderbusses and bull centaurs, but the small ones I like, from the mid 90s“
