Paint up a Conquest army. This is a bit of a cheat, since I’m hard at work for a tournament this weekend. I will for sure have 2000 pts painted by Saturday!
Paint up the 40k Boarding Actions terrain set. Started painting this last year, would be a shame not to finish it up…
More 40k Yeah! Having lots of fun painting the old Orks, so will at least add some more.
More Silver Bayonet. A friend is working on the Egypt campaign so I might have to paint up some Camels next.
More Inquisitor Still have a pile of metal models, shouldn’t be a problem to paint up one or two (or twentyfive).

Paint up an Old World army. I had so much fun painting the retro style Big Hats for Blood Bowl last year. Maybe I could paint up a small army of these guys. Also have a small 500 pts tournament in March, so that should be an achievable number of models…

Paint up the Horizon Zero Dawn boardgame. Leftover from last year (and 2024). Really want to finish this up, but it’s probably not high enough on the priority list…
Paint up some Walking Dead: All out War models. Still love these models, but am I ever going to play this and would I therefore need painted models?
Kill Team. Painting up a small squad sounds like fun. Can I convince my gaming group to play this?

Cool, love to see this! Been battleing(BatG) with a Troll Horde myself… Only a few models left, and never even glanced at the rules.
What are the three characters infront? …and Ive been painting up 16 Stone Trolls, but really havent thought about movement trays or how to rank them up. 3x2 Looks great IMO, so glad to see thats what you have done here. I assume its an ok option to field them atleast.
I think 4 wide would be a bit better, since bigger front rank = more attacks = better output. They always fail on combat res, because wounds saves by Regeneration still count as wounds
The 3 characters are for a special scenario. Everyone basically had 3 Doomseekers in their army that had to die for you to get VP. Lots of fun!
So the Conquest tournament is done and I mostly survived. It was super intense to play and try to remember the rules to a relatively new game…
But it’s good to have these models done. I had them lying around unpainted for years, so now I can chuck them back in the closet but painted! It’s a shame the big models still only count as one… ;p
I also got a special Tournament model, so that’s one more for the painting pile:
I finally brought my Halflings back to the Old World. Ofcourse this meant rebasing the models, and when I looked at them there were a lot of chips and other damage, and the paint job was lacking some highlights… So in the end I basically repainted most of the models.
