Big Hats from Austria

Hello and greetings from Vienna, Austria!

I’ve been following this forum for a while and now found the time to post something. I have been a huge fan of Chaos Dwarfs ever since I started to play WHFB as a kid in the late 90s (it must have been 5th edition back then; we played a lot of 6th but never made it to 7th+). But next to Lizardmen, some ordinary (uninspired?) dwarfs, Empire and Slaanesh, I never found the time/resources to collect Chaos Dwarfs. Until the recent 40k edition (which I really dislike), I also rather focused on that system. With the advent of TOW, this has changed.

This is most of what I’ve painted up in the past one and a half years, plus an iron demon and some hobgoblins (already dead in the picture below :face_with_hand_over_mouth: ). I also need to assemble/paint some more dwarfs, hobgoblins and the rest of the train. Not sure when I will have time for that.

…and recently I also started a Sons of Hashut warband in our Mordheim campaign (you can see my newly recruited bull centaur on the right and most of the remaining warband crammed into a boat), heroically fighting halflings and undead.

Cheers!

Nice looking army and great paint scheme. Awesome seeing some CD action in Mordhein as well. Welcome!

Thank you!

The warband is the other one, that was originally published in the Spanish Fanatic magazine. I think the one from Border Town Burning is called Black Dwarfs. But I also always mix them up.
