I was curious if anyone had found 3d print files or created methods for converting the old style of hats for the new Helsmith models.

I haven’t seen any yet, but it will happen for sure.
Headswaps are very easy on these new plastic models. Of there’s one thing having Beardless Chaos Dwarfs has done, it’s ensured that the beards are not built into the torsos of the miniatures, which gives Rob’s of flexibility for headswapping with ease.
