Great episode! I was already moderately hyped (more hits than misses voter) but now I’m likely gonna go ahead and just order one of everything. Ouch my wallet but it pencils out because I probably won’t get around to painting (the non-centaur/hobgrot) half of it for so long that it counts as retirement savings.

Definitely getting two of everything right off the start… at a minimum. Hopefully there’s no one-set purchase limit. The Warcry set though, I’m thinking starting at 3x. Once the other models come out later this fall I’m also expecting 2x-3x of each. The Blunderbusses are going to be expensive for sure, but I’m going to want 4x-6x I think! Going to be a very expensive 2025

Haha, yes, this is probably the ballpark if it was all at once. It’ll be spread out a little over the Fall (most costly will be the second wave, I’m guessing). Still, all told it’ll be equivalent to ~1 month of RRSP contributions, but spread out. We’re in a fortunate position right now anyway so the timing is spot-on. Sadly there’s no extra hobby time that’s going to get freed up to go along with the spending and models… and I’m still juggling my 4’x4’ diorama cabinet and the bookcase diorama for Cursed City

Really enjoyed this podcast guys, wanted to watch the last one but the audio beat me sorry lads.
First off got to say great editing, so many podcasts hear people talking about things that really need or would benefit from pictures edited in but they just don’t bother, this is a masterclass in why it’s important it elevated the whole thing.
Thought @Xander @Jasko @chitzkoi all did great jobs hosting 
and managing to put across what the community vibe is and not just some of them, especially the critiques in there too.
I have so many thoughts and ideas now as well listening to you guys and hearing some more in depth views on the designs and where they’ve all come from.
Thanks for including the mock ups too of course, looking forward to getting the actual sprues in our hands to see if some of the scaling works with the ideas we all have.
I have some more ideas I’m working on now, especially around that mechanical bull.
I’m really looking forward to the lore, almost as much as the minis, I really want to know more about how we fit in with fellow dwarfs? Do we exclusively use mechanical beasts or do they still exist? What do we think of the rest of the Chaos factions?
It also seems with the variant kits there 2 ways to build an army, religious priests builds that look to be more defensive and then a more army/conflict driven force with smiths and magic. The Bull Centaurs are almost the visual representation of this with their 2 kits

Super happy with the episodes! Somewhere on an old hard drive I have got half the audio from a missing (never released) Chaos Dwarf Radio episode from 2011/2012. Hashut’s Blessing and I recorded for ~3h late one night but as we signed off and I went to save my audio the program crashed and I was left with a temporary file with 0 bytes. HB sent me his audio, but I was barely audible in the background. Back then I’d have to edit the two streams together, switching between his file from his mic, and my file with my mic feed. While I could have written out a transcript of what I said and then re-recorded my audio I was wayyyy too busy with work, young married life and two daycare-aged kids. Probably now AI could use my voice to re-do all the missing audio, but the content would be terribly out of date.
Would be fun to update those old episodes for YT with a retro intro and some basic images for topics being discussed. The old forum still has all the old show notes, etc.
