I am very happy with Fabelze’s. I decided I am ok with few OG models and Fabelzel or even MAntic makes models that fits the theme perfectly.
I deploy them to screen my infantry. It is easy to cover Your key infantry partially with them. Reinforcements are an option but with 2+ units. 2+ units makes this tool reliable.
Sadly not for CD. I do it for my brother-in-law’s empire. I post it when I finish it. It was not easy to put it on a 60x100 base to be a steam tank lol as it barely first 100x150.
I was thinking recently that there was a time when creativity took over GW. Chaos Dwarfs were a result of such unrestrained creativity. This model is another example.
Mhm, I don’t think I would go that far, I think it’s more specific for Forgeworld / Warhammer Forge. Those two brands were always given license to deviate from mainline aesthetic. Their Orcs and Goblins, the Landship, Legion of Azgorh but also the Tau Battlesuits all took a very different turn from the main models. But regular Space Marines from mainline GW didn’t look any different. And still today, the Necromunda models which are now released from “Forgeworld” are among the most creative models they’ve ever released.
I was thinking more about creative freedom than about specific brand. Some of previous concepts and ideas would not be realized if they were talked today purely for $$$ reasons. There was something more than profit that was driving creators decades ago.
