I plan to. Here is another step done. Darker Orange. Next im linę is dark Red and then some drybrushing with off Black. Best part!

Now I have to add some off black which is tricky. I think I start with horns/hooves and see how it goes from there…
Have you considered a VERY LIGHT drybrush with black so the edges catch it? (which is where it would be colder, therefore not looking as bright)
I did. That was the plan. I even mentioned it one post above yours. I will go further and will make final drybrush with cold blue Grey. Something like sea Grey. Tint of blue will add extra contrast. Just on coldest parts.
Still edges need one morę coat of Black and I will brighten some deepest spaces too.
Model can have a smole comming out of its forehead. I wonder if green/Grey smoke would be a nice addition…

Need some advice. The saddle has 2 banners (one already broke of - it it already pinned but will glue it in place when painted). I have no good idea how to paint those. I think I do not want to paint for a nice CD printed banners so I have to figure out colours for those.
Maby something simple like red cloth with some runes (from AoS transfer sheet) with blackish trimms?
One thing I have fixed today is that I have grey down top of the flames. It felt too green so now is dulled down to light green/grey tones.
I plan to take part in a 1250 point tournament with… 312 unit/hero limit. I al looking for best Castellan/Black orc set ups… Any tips?

I’d consider a Black Orc (War)boss on Boar Chariot. Hits like a brick and is immune to killing blow and monster slayer. Slap the trusty Trollhide Trousers on and then whatever else you can/want to afford. Great Weapon, (Charmed/Enchanted) Shield, Choppiest Choppa, Effigy of Mork…

Great Idea.
What’s the interaction between trollhide, shield and the chariot armor ? My guess is that you can’t stack it, but you can use the character superior armor profil ?

Thanks. I did nit have much time do I was airbrushing łatwe after layer in-between things. Same for drybrushing. It was refreshing wiek in the evening. I did bases on one evening along side some scenario markers I have built months ago. I did a rider on one evening too. I guess I use a lot od shortcuts. Speedpaints, oils.
