Maybe this is a weird topic.
But me and some friends are going on a road trip from the Netherlands to Northern Italy (Ferrara) in a few weeks. Ofcourse we need to make regular stops on the way, and now I was wondering if there are any fun wargaming related locations we should check out?
Some excellent gaming stores, fun museums, historic locations?

Well, when exactly are you guys going? On that route there’s a good chance you’ll pass by Cologne, where I live 
In addition to Cologne being packed with Roman stuff and of course famous Cologne Cathedral, Drachenfels is very near and there’s a cute little castle ruin up the hill.
We’re driving up and down from 6-13 November.
Cologne might be cool, though I’m not sure it would be wise to drive into the city.
Right now we have Castle Hohenzollern checked on the map more to the South
