Creating the Dawizarr Palace

Building the LK chaos dwarf Ziggurat. Figured I’d share progress of this probably multi year project with the front gate.

Looking great (gate?)!

How many spindles have you gone through printing that so far? I’m also curious how long each print takes?

Also, since I’m asking questions…what infill are you using?

Not that I plan on printing it or anything…the wifey would kill me

So I’ve got a friend who’s doing the fun math of infills and spindle usage (As he’s the one with the actual printer), but I can give you material cost, number of spools, and a rough time table.

These photos are to show what all I’m printing and to show the inspiration for my paint scheme for the Ziggurat. I plan on going full on Assyrian full color murals and statues. Which I know will murder me slowly as it’s going to take days per section of the build but it’ll be my Magnum Opus in miniature painting.

Finally an update to the palace! Working on the main stair mural now that I’ve got time to work on it.

This is awesome. I would like to print this beast myself one day. How big is it? Can you pls give some rough dimensions?

So the staircase width is roughly 28 inches across. In the photo there’s a ruler that you can use to roughly scale the rest of the gate

Progress has to be stopped for a while due to life events including my own wedding but progress now resumes on the palace!
