I reckon ive bought over 50 of them over time. One of my fav kits ever, goes so well with just about everything…and then i discovered i could make em look like chaos dwarfs too and got even more. I wish gw would make units like that again one day.
They look surprisingly good just painted gold it seems, i think its the mutations and skin that makes that colour scheme work so well. Great job as always.

I’m using citadel and warcolours mostly.
Yeah skin recipe is dead simple
Sprayed wraithbone
Covered in apothecary white
Highlights picked out in pure white
Then washed with heavily watered down magic purple
Then extreme highlights picked out in white again.
(Around the face a bit of purple ink is used to give shadows for cheeks and eyes etc)
