FDM Friendly Iron Daemon

I have several stls of creators’ Iron Daemon type chaos dwarf contraptions, but have little confidence I can get them printed up as good as my warriors on my Bambu without massive migraines from trying to cut the parts into printable pieces. Does anyone have any files for an Iron Daemon that are detailed, for big hats, and fdm friendly? Thanks.

The cults3d one came out okay. Working on it now.

I have just about all of the ones I could get for free.

I printed the cults3d one after chopping it up. Came out okay in FDM, although I did remove a lot of the delicate parts that I knew wouldn’t print.

Yeah, I’m just going to have to cowboy up and get to trimming like you, I guess.

Finished yesterday.

Looks great! What paths did you have to take to get it to work on an FDM?

Could define an FDM?

An FDM printer. Not a resin one. My bad.

I printed my on an elegoo resin printer. All the parts came out okay. The piping was very finicky and delicate.

Ah, cool. This thread is about printing it up in FDM. Your print looks great, though.

Understood and thank you.

I’m working on an iron daemon that’s less detailed than the FW one. We’re still ironing out some kinks in regards to printing it, and it will be printed in resin, but I think the fatter and reduced details might print better on FDM than the FW one.

Or scale up a 10mm model for the same benefits:

I also have another 10mm train you don’t need to pay for, just PM me :parrot::pirate_flag:
