As someone feared the death of an era with me selling the old Chaos Dwarf books, Ill have to present this… a new hope, first painted Chaos Dwarf! Been working hard on this one over the last week, sprayed, based, painted himself, and really proud…
I loved it when you can get the kids doing artistic projects, beats them sitting on the tablet or phone.
Keep up the spirit young Daemonsmith, Hashut welcomes you in the fold with open arms
Awesome! I highly recommend speedpaints for the littler ones, since you don’t have to worry about thinning them down, and the result really is quite pleasing (unless you look away and your kid starts painting with water, like on the horse below)
My daughter is a bit over 2, she did these ones:
The ones in the back are prepainted D&D guys, but we’ll get to them eventually.
That lizardman is painted incredibly well for a 2 year old.
For my son’s first model he found the red paint and wanted to put blood on the sword for the finishing touch. Then decided blood splatter would be good too. Then a bit more. He pretty much painted over his previously okay paintjob with red. Very little surface of the model was not red.
