How to vote:
Please submit 3 numbers as votes by sending a PM to the @GoldenHat account (a special account all Staff members can access).
Each (more or less) anonymous entry is numbered ranging from 1 to 17. There is no need to specify which one you think is 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Simply list the three that you like and we will do the rest. You are not allowed to vote for yourself.
Voting will close at 11:59 PM March the 26th, 2026 EST (Eastern Standard Timezone). Once the votes are tallied we will post the results.
This is tough, there are easily more than 3 that stand out for so many different reasons. I was going to send my votes straight in but I think I need to sit on it and come back before I do

While I do not expect to win at all, as holy Hashut there are some brilliantly painted entries on here that deserve it a lot more, still brings a smirk to my face seeing mine there.
What I’ve enjoyed about this event is gaining inspiration to paint new models. Someone always has a different approach to painting that I can adapt into my own. There is always another way to do something and make our models the prize of the old world battlefields. Well done all.
Although everyone is a winner really, for ticking something off their pile of shame, is there a short list somewhere of medal winners across all the golden hats?
Whoops. I come back from vacation thinking I had 3 days left only to find I have missed the boat. I had it noted down as the 18th for some reason, not the 12th. That is how life goes. At least I got some models painted. Great entries. Will cast my vote soon, and post some newly painted units on my blog soon. Cheers and well done!
I don’t think there is any complete place outside of scanning down through the gallery.
We don’t have an all time leaderboard that I’m aware of… That said, since the migration to the discourse one can go to the badges section and see all those awarded the badge.
That won’t encompass folks that only existed on the old forum, nor anyone that neglected to hound an admin for their old badges.
(Anyone that is missing badges just send me a PM, ideally with links to all contests entered and any medals earned. Remember total contests entered gets you credit toward veteran badges!)
Those HASHUT! dice and the Do Odd Miniatures metal Black Dwarf models all need good homes. They’re all sitting off to the side awaiting the final word from @GoldenHat !
