So yeah.. haven’t updated this thread in a while. But I have been painting, so get ready for a photo dump!

First a small continuation of the Troll Horde. Needed more banners in my army for a tournament, so I build a Goblin BSB on “Giant Spider”:

That’s the Trolls done. They’re back in storage, then in was time for a 40k Teams tournament!

So I finished more Orks!

10 Gretchin (all metal, cost me a fortune!) and some crew for a Mek gun:

A “Token” to show there’s minis in my Trukk:

3 Deffkoptas:

And some army pics from the Tournament! On it also a couple of Buggies and some more Warbikes added.

Because it was a team tournament I made a little fluffy marker to show our alliance. According to the Gorkamorka fluff this was place of a Necron Tomb on the planet, and sometimes there were alliances made..

So that’s it for the army stuff:

Another post for the more random stuff ;p

I had this Gambler model for Kingdom Death on my desk for years, finally painted him:

The maker of Frostgrave came out with a Halfling party-esque game (Hairfoot Jousting) so I couldn’t resist buying some lovely metal models:

I also recently got back into playing X-wing, and couldn’t resist painting up some custom models.

Mando’s Naboo Starfighter:

And a LAAT Clone gunship with the design from the Tartakovsky cartoon.

And then I across this lovely 54mm Inquisitor Assassin. I have loads more 54mm stuff so I might finally paint those!

Now we’re up to date again and we’ll see if I can keep this updated a little better!

Random model of the week!

Another 40k campaign and I’m playing Tyranids, but I had a hard time writing some fluff for my army.

So I dug through my bitsbox and found an emmisary!

Had some fun making pictures. Still need to work on focussing my camera.. :")

Yes! I’ve painted some Chaos Dwarfs!

A friend is hosting a Blood Bowl 7s tournament next weekend, and although I already have 4-5 teams ready to go, I decided to have a rummage through my bitsbox and managed to dig out a usable Chaos Dwarf team from some scraps.

My favorite model is my converted Flamesmith:

Unlike my Chaos Dwarf army I painted these in some brighter Old Skool colours. And it was so fun, it makes me think about repainted some more stuff…

But that’s for the future, first these guys need to perform!

So the Blood Bowl tournament was great fun! The night before I painted up a model a friend gave me ages ago:

The weather was great, so we even played one of our games outside. Only one block dice ended up in the canal…

So now it’s back to more serious stuff? I also played an Old World tournament, and dug out my old Chaos Dwarf Ogres:

And I even repainted my Gorger:

So now we leave the Fantasy stuff behind, and it’s time for another 40k campaign. So first I painted up some terrain:

The Arvus is my favorite 40k vehicle, so now we can use it as some blocking terrain:

I’m still thinking about what army I will use, Tyranids or Orks, but I couldn’t resist painting up some Orky characters:

Time for the final bookkeeping of 2025.

I have been painting, but haven’t updated this log enough…

So here we go:

For the 40k campaign I finished painting my unit of Nobz:

At the same time I also painted up a bigger brother for my Inquisitor 54mm collection:

And I sculpted and painted an Imperial Pilot / NPC for the game:

And some final Fantasy stuff, we had a small Christmas bash so I painted up a Christmas Goblin with some special objective terrain pieces:

So it’s been 2026 for a while now. Time to wrap up this thread and start a new one!

Lets see how far I got with the goals I set at the start of 2025:

  • Paint up a Malifaux crew. Succes! Painted up new models, repainted old ones, played a tournament and chucked them back in the cupboard ;p
  • Paint up an Old World army. Also success! Even though I didn’t paint the armies I mentioned, I did paint up a full Troll Horde army and won some painting awards!

As for the rest, maybe just copy-paste them into my 2026 thread… ;p

  • Paint up a Conquest army. Nope, although looking good for 2026!
  • Paint up the Horizon Zero Dawn boardgame. Hell naw, didn’t even look at this game.
  • Paint up some Walking Dead: All out War models. Game got a relaunch, looked at it, but still a big pile of plastic…
  • Paint up the 40k Boarding Actions terrain set. Well, I started on this! Got it about 40% done, and now we’re using it in a campaign. Didn’t count it for this BATG though since it’s not finished yet. Maybe in 2026…

And some more random new goals:

  • More Silver Bayonet. Ah yes, painted up some Zombies and monsters. A friend is working on the Egypt campaign so I might have to paint up some Camels next.
  • Kill Team? Nope :frowning:

And then some stuff I didn’t plan for. I painted up a full 1.000+ of retro 40k Orks! I love this army and these models, and am working on adding more!

I got back into X-wing and painted some models for that.

And I painted some 54mm Inquisitor models! Still have a big pile, so that will be on the board for 2026 for sure!

Even painted some Chaos Dwarfs. It’s really starting to itch to paint up a retro style Old World army with the models I still have lying around…

But that’s all for my 2026 thread! On to the next!
