I don't like cows!

I’m a madman and am not a huge fan of seeing my lord charge around on a Bale Taurus. It just seems wrong for guys living underground or in barren hellscapes.

I’m looking for a mount that’s a bit more…Balrog-y. Or at least more keeping with mining, mountains, heat, etc

Would love advice!

Maybe you just need more molten lava

I mean the bull is amazing but you could probably use a chaos dragon or something as a proxy if you just want the look.

Chaos Dwarfs build citties with Ziggurats so they not always live underground. Miners were using horses undeground so a Taurus living undergound does not feel that bad.

Mechanical constructs fit the theme very well, either as purely Dawi Zharr-made machines or as bound daemons. Bonus points for constructs that resemble monstrous creatures. Combining any of these ideas with mining machines, planquins, or over-the-top chariots, etc fits within the army really well also!

Love the idea. The question is: what mechanical construct fits the stats of a Bale Taurus (can fly while also having strong attacks)?

Perhaps some kind of bipedal helicopter model?

Some kind of mechanical crane rig with arms for grabbing with dual mounted gyrocopters on the back and a ridiculously exposed sorcerer on top piloting the rig!!?? lol

An easy version of that would be Brokk Grungsson from AoS. Big flying balloon with a cannon and chainswords. He needs a proper beard and hat though - his are just plain ordinary steampunk. Something with propellers would look better though.

Inspired. I mean, it wouldn’t be out of character for Chorfs to bring something that takes up half the battlefield. Who bring a train to gun fight!?

I wish castellans could ride atop an iron daemon just to 1v1 a dragon with a maddwarf on a train

A flying steam train like Doc Brown that counts as a Bale Taurus is all you’d need to go 1v1 with a dragon!!
