Okay, while I figure out whether the bodies count towards the pile (my wife says they do), I do have a small update.
First, a 30k Death Guard Sergeant:
I decided to give all my Tactical Squad sergeants power scythes, and the sergeant I had already painted for one of my squads just has a chainsword - so I built a new one and painted it up the same way I have the rest of the army.
Next, a 30k Death Guard Master of Signals:
I’ve stolen the basic idea from SeizeTheInitiative on Instagram although I did use a different head. Again, nothing special about the paint job on this guy.
Finally, I painted two more Heresy Militia:
As you can see in the background, I’m actually working on a pile of them at the moment, but I only have 10 painting handles that match, so I painted these two in not-very-batch-paint mode to get them done and make room for the other 10 on the desk.
That’s four off the pile, which brings me to a (very temporary) round zero BATG score. That will almost certainly go back up, but at least I’m bouncing off the target.
