Meanwhile, I’ve had these ten Heresy Grenadiers on and off the painting desk for at least three weeks:
There’s nothing particularly special or challenging about them, I’ve already got a squad of them and they’re about half done.
Apparently, I want to paint anything else because today I painted a Kroot:
I’ve never painted a Kroot before, but I’ve been kind of interested in a Kroot Mercenary army since the list was originally published in White Dwarf back in the early 2000s.
I roughly followed tutorials from Darcy Bono, using Nighthaunt Gloom for the body colour and a 70-30 blend of Aggaros Dunes and Magmadroth Flame for the spines. I also tried out a different base scheme, since I’ll never need to run this guy as an ally for any of my existing models I thought I’d mix it up.
