Hello! Greeting from the sunny south east of the UK
I consider myself an long term player, just edging over in to my 40s and having been involved with the hobby since school. But even for old long beards like me Chaos Dwarves were always a little mysterious. I dont remember ever seeing them in person when I started visiting our local GW but occasionally in white dwarf still and on bloodbowl pitches here and there, and as I progressef in my hobby through 6th and 7th they slipped a little from memory. In to 8th they of course came up in Legions, but again I don’t remember ACTUALLY seeing any locally.
But through all that time, they stuck with me - the hats, the beards, the chaos with a different vibe, the striking black and red colour scheme! I always wanted an army but they were just so expensive to get started with and I just never found the spare money to start up that dream.
But now, I’ve been looking for a new army (I’m a one army at a time boy) and having had little luck in the old world with high and wood elves…
I have ordered some 3d prints that feel evocative of the old style of CDs. My first 3D prints and my first CDs all in one go!
I’ve written a list that is a lot of ‘big stuff’ - 2 Taurus and 2 iron demon as a workable 2k list- with the plan to then add to the army over time
