I've unearthed the rarest bit of 40k lore - A Chaos Dwarf reference!

That’s right. Not Renegade Squats, not Traitor Squats, not Chaos Squats, but actual Chaos Dwarfs!

And in true form, they’re maintaining War Machines of devastating power, even in the far future!

Behold!

That’s right! Chaos Dwarf artificers maintain Chaos Dreadnoughts!

Oversight? Bizarre typo? Freudian slip?

You be the judge.

Keep in mind, this is almost 3 years since a full Squat list (and Traitor Squat list):

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Nice one! You are probably aware chaos squats make the space crusade androids too?

A bit of ai to get some relevant info on this:

Yes, Chaos Squats did make androids! In early Warhammer 40k lore, they were explicitly credited with creating the infamous Chaos Androids. The Lore of Chaos AndroidsThe Creators: During the Rogue Trader era (1st Edition), certain tainted Chaos Squat fabricators working alongside Chaos Renegades held the secret to forging these machines. How They Worked: Because the Imperium banned true Artificial Intelligence, and Chaos thrives on emotion, the Chaos Squats didn’t use software. Instead, a Chaos Sorcerer would bind a tiny daemon inside the plasteel shell to act as its animating spirit. Personality: The trapped daemons hated being imprisoned in inorganic metal skeletons. Because of this, they would actively try to maliciously misinterpret or subvert any orders given to them by their mortal masters.

I need to paint up an old old dreadnought now…
