Ive a load of chaos dwarves and hobgobins I’m not really sure what the value of it is from 20+ years ago. Half still in blister packs. Wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me value them as I’d like to sell them. I beli e i have in blister packs chaos dwarf: hero, champion, 4 packs of axemen, 3 packs of hobgoblins warriors, hob wolf rider champion and a pack of sneaky gits. Then loose i have 18 plastic axemen, 4 sneaky gits, hobgob comander, boss, wolf rider champ, wolf rider cheifden, and standard bearer. Hobgob muscian from command group, choas dwarf lord for turas but missing bulls body head, but got its wings and lord. Earth shaker cannon crew, top of rocket launcher and crank wheel, half the body of a wolf rider, parts of hobgob bolt thrower. Back standard for the magican, and chaos dwarf commander standard bearer and drummer.
I sorted them into tubs at the end of the pandemic, looked into what minis they are, and scribbled it down on some paper before popping it to one side for all this time. Realised i hadn’t done anything with them and decided the time has come to work out value and look at selling them, problem is everywhere i look seems there are different prices, troll trader seems high, half of ebay was make me an offer so sold price is unknown. Then i found this beauty of a forum. So thought id reach out and ask for help. Im in the UK, and would like to sell as a bulk set tbh, but would consider individual sales. Photoed as best i can, appologies for the poor handwriting but thought maybe that scrap of paper with whats what may be of some use.
Many thanks in advance.
I just purchased some Hobgoblins for $20 Canadian each. eBay prices tend to look higher but things sit for a long time at the high prices too. With them mostly still being in blisters there might be a bit more value for the spill-over of folks that like sealed product but I really don’t understand it when it comes to miniatures. Some of the blisters are a bit dinged up anyway so they may not fetch much more than the price of the individual models.
Plastic warriors $8-10 CDN
metal warriors $18-22 CDN
metal heroes $30+ CDN
Mounted sorcerer or lords are up to $120-$180 from the latest prices… probably hype from the upcoming AoS release is my guess as they were going for a fair bit less a year or two ago
Keep me in mind if you decide on a price… my Hobgoblin army needs reinforcements!!

I really appreciate the advice. Wish i still had the mount for the lord.
I read somewhere on here that the CDs hold a slightly higher value in the UK compared to the USA, know your Canada, wonder how thay coverts sorta thing ???
And yeah I think the blisters hold a slightly higher value, but also I expect who ever I sell them to to open the blisters and paint them if want to sell to a collectors over a seller, but also moneys money kinda thing lol
Perhaps if someone needs them badly enough you’ll get ab offer you can’t refuse, but the forum communities like ours and the Facebook groups all tend to be 25% below the rates of eBay completed sales listing prices. This might be in part to eBay being a combination of the usual FOMO excitement of a limited time auction counting down and the nature of people bidding against each other that drives prices a bit higher.
Here’s what I got based on decent sales prices for your numbers…
