There have been many ups and downs as we started bogwyrm.com this year but throughout it all this never left my head, and now it is finally coming to fruition!
That’s right, the PrincipeNero collab is a go and we are launching our campaign through backerkit starting January 6th!
For those unfamiliar, PrincipeNero Miniatures is the outgrowth of the Max152 remixes from the original Fabelzel line. His unique deal with Fabelzel has allowed him to remix and sell prints of the originals, addressing the primary complaint most had of the originals - there just weren’t enough of them! Now the number of unique sculpts has over doubled, plus there have been completely new additions like the fireglaives and Immortals, all maintaining that original Fabz charm.
What’s that? Not yet impressed? Me neither. That’s why we’ve also turned them multipart. But not the annoying kind - we’ve separated the hats from the rank and file allowing you to swap hats and bodies at will allowing for even more variation! Or define each unit based on it’s hats, it’s all up to you.

I find it interesting that so few are on the steppe raiders tier. Probably something about old world but to me the cav is the standout in this release.

We didn’t have an Early Bird Steppe Raiders tier, so most people grabbed Army or Horde Tiers and took Steppe Raiders in the Add-Ons!
Personally I was surprised with how popular they’ve actually been. I’m curious what people want with them all. Does TOW really encourage multiple units? Or are they being used elsewhere? Or is it just completion and wanting 1 of each?
As for the dogs, I’m definitely going to push Max for more! If the standard style win the poll for wolf riders then it would be very easy to make a few adjustments and pop the alt riders onto the dogs. We’ll see!
Ah that does make sense. Snag one of the early bird bundles and supplement with cav.
All I see when I look at the campaign is the presence of that spears cav unit. So much that it overwhelms all desire for multiple loadouts. They just look so dam good.
Haven’t backed yet but the thanos snap of my fun funds is inevitable. The likelihood of just going steppe raiders all spears is high. Early bird foot hero be damned.
Weeeeell the spear wolfies are great ! And I personnally enjoy my light cav to go eat some welf. But then again 19 steppe hordes … we might have some Hobgoblin khanate agents active on the forum.
Still not backed it yet, I’ll take some time to ponder.
What is the poll exactly ? I presume you need to back the project.
The current poll is whether to use the original fabz wolf for the mounted khan or the slightly updated one from Max! And yes, it’s closed except to backers. That one closes on Tuesday and the next will start.
