Hi all, Long long long time dwarf player. Always steered clear of the short kings of the larger hat persuasion until now. on my painting desk for the next few months will be HoH for AOS as well as a chaos dwarf army for Warmaster. Once I Have that cleared up I am thinking about doing an Old world army for chaos dwarfs. While I am waiting for the GW starter boxes to land and get on with the building I have a few of my other dwarf armies to warm you up with.

Just setting up my hobby table to get ready for Saturday morning. ( local shop has 2 boxes that will be waiting for me). Not painted a chaos dwarf for a while… am I doing this right ?

EDIT: also just realised I haven’t posted to say how amazing your converted Dwarfs are, blown away at how good they are
Last time I used rageshade It was in word bearers for Legion imperialis its a really good shade. using it on armour and on the flesh for my HoH. The Idea of the bases is they are following up on the skaven tide, reclaiming resources from the destruction… and probably fresh workforces from the Skaven and the survivors still need to pick the burnt out city they are harvesting. torn by a KO Minor barak, one of the towns from the dawn bringer crusade or even a Lumieth outpost that we are raiding to reclaim the big hats.

Slowed down a little nearly finished another 10 spears and these 2 rolled off the painting table. Got a spearhead event on Friday to take the spearhead I have finished to, then it will be getting the rest of the second box painted before next weekend pre-orders turn up
