Greetings my dark brothers! I bring with me further tributes to The Bull.
20 more infernal cohort spearsdwarfs, with special care taken to ensure there are no duplicates anywhere in the mix, and that all dwarfs stand at attention and in their full regalia, rather than missing helmets or shields. With these guys the backbone of the force has been properly filled out and I can start fielding painted forces on the table that can actually look like an army.
Done in a batch of 20 which is pretty strange for me with models this complicated. I feel like assembly-lining so many at once ended up doing me a disservice because of how much higher the mental load becomes when you know you’re gonna have to paint silver and gold scales 20 times in a row. Lesson learned there, no doubt I could have been more productive if I painted 10 and moved on to something else but there’s something to be said for having the brick of all 20 done now.
Which gives me 30 cohort painted in total. Lots of footsloggers to die en masse defending our army damage dealers. Great to see the shelf filling up with colored minis, I’ll have to do another group shot soon to show off progress. Painting progress has slowed while I recover from an injury, but the army has much more to come yet. Up next are the very hard to get a hold of Bull Centaurs. Stay pure evil, fellow sorcerers.
