Original FW prices

Anyone happen to remember the original shop prices of any of the FW CD?

I think in £

Magma cannon and death shrieker around £50. About £60 for three bull centaurs?

I have an old 2016 FW catalogue somewhere. I recently bought a warpfire dragon and i checked how much it increased since then (it actually got a little cheaper adjusting with inflation).

When i get home i’ll update you!

Yes… I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for a while with no luck. I’m pretty sure it just requires some swapping out of parts for the normal Giant model as well, so it’s even more insane.

And just for further reference.. so not much of anything in the way of significant price increases. By 2015 a unit of IG were up to £38.

August 2011

November 2012

June 2014

By 2015 Age of Sigmar was released and the Warhammer Forge stuff all fell under the AoS umbrella. A number of Legion of Azgorh things got moved over to ‘Last Chance to Buy’ for some of the larger collections (like “Hashut’s Wrath Artillery Train”, that included an set of Daemonsmiths, 1 Iron Daemon, 1 Dreadquake Mortar, 1 Death Shrieker Rocket and 1 Magma Cannon). By late 2015 they’d moved to promoting larger groups of forces in general, like the “Blackshard Warhost” that included 20 IG with Hand Weapons, 20 IG with Fireglaives, but only 1 set of full command models (oddly) for £160.

After October 2015 was when prices went up again and in Nov 2015 we saw a ~2-5% price jump. Bull Centaurs went up to £60, Daemonsmiths were now £20, Drazhoath the Ashen was £71. Regular IG were up to £39 by this time.

Shar’tor the Executioner was exclusively available at Warhammer Fest in May of 2016, and later released in July of 2016 on the Forgeworld webstore. Having trouble finding records of him but reports online state he initially went on sale for £70.. which sounds about right and is corroborated by a respondent on Reddit who also gave the same value (posted in 2021).

[Edit] Also found this link to The Miniatures Page also reporting Shar’tor at £70 on the day it went on sale on the FW site (July 16, 2016). From the page I could find around the time of Covid (2021) it was already unavailable.

Nice, thanks for posting! I’ve got a couple of these, including an early one from 2011 before the rest of the range was available.
