Nice clean finish with those cohort. I remember hearing about Zharr Vyxa, some chaos dwarf powered oil rig in Shyish, years ago and thought the idea was rad. Cool to see these crimson raiders brought to life. I’ll drink a fiery pint in their honor and hope they return to their dredger-ziggurat with loot and souls for their forges.

Yeah the oil rig concept and then the dude at GW talking about Dreadfleet in relations to them made me excited to paint up some Helsmiths in that scheme

Been a few days since the last update but I have completed the Dominator Engine that came in the army box! Was fun, it’s the largest model I’ve ever painted and it’s the first time I really played with flames and smoke. I am very happy with how it turned out:

Thank you! Yeah hoping to have the Bombard finished up some time next week and then that’ll be the Spearhead. Unsure what I am gonna grab right away. There are some non-hobby stuff I want to spend some time doing and I was reaaaaally hoping we would see the Spearhead box so I could build all the alt builds

I did enjoy working on it I had to approach it in a more step-by-step process than any other model working in sections, but I think by doing so it helped me really visualize the final product much better. And doing this one is a big confidence booster for when I need to eventually paint the other kit, the Dominator with Bane Maces.
